We will be at my Grandma Macke's tomorrow night for Christmas, Feldkamp side Saturday evening and then we will be heading to Hanover later that night. We will spend the rest of the weekend and Monday in Hanover. Chris's birthday is on Monday and it will be nice to spend that day with his family. He will be the big 28!! Only Nine More Shopping Days Until Christmas!

Hello All! Just wanted to update all of you on what we've been up to for the past few weeks or so. Braylon has been doing pretty well with his weight gain. We took him back in today for his follow up with the nutritionist and was elated to hear that, over the past 27 days, he has gained an average of 16 grams per day! The average weight gain per day for a child his age is about 6 grams, so this was wonderful news! That is equivalent to about 1 pound during this timeframe.

A little over a week ago we took Braylon to get his picture taken with Santa. Unfortunately Braylon didn't like the idea and threw a minor fit. We think he's at that age where people dressed up in strange costumes are a bit frightful.

This past weekend, Renee and her sisters spent the majority of the day Saturday baking all sorts of Christmas goodies. There was enough to bring to work to share with our co-workers and also a tray to donate to Harvesters. Later that evening we visited some family friends and their two daughters, Lilly and Lucy. Lucy was born just this past July, but this was the first time meeting her. We all had a great time and it was a blast watching Braylon playing with Lilly. As you can see in the pictures below, they really hit it off and it was hard getting them to separate. Braylon loves to give hugs and kisses!
Also, please don't be afraid to leave comments on the blog! We love to see that people are visiting. Enjoy the pics below.

How Handsome is He?

A LOT according to Mommy and Daddy. :) I just had to put this picture of Braylon up(pic taken by Grandpa George at Thanksgiving). He is just too adorable. He is also displaying his new haircut. We buzzed it off a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE it. It makes him look a lot more like a little boy. Braylon has a little bit of a cold right now and is not eating very well. And as most of you know this is not good, since we are having a hard time getting him to gain weight. I wish I had a little boy that liked to eat like his dad. :) Then I would have no worries. Hopefully this will pass and he starts to eat again.

My sister Robyn has moved back to KC from Wisconsin this past weekend. She will be staying with us for awhile. We are so happy to have her and so excited she is back home. I think Braylon has a new best friend. She pay A LOT of attention to him and he LOVES it. :) Plus Chris and I get some yummy meals prepared for us. She likes to cook! How much better can it get? I don't think it can. I am just so glad she is back closer to home!!

I am going to try and take Braylon to the mall this weekend to see Santa. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully I'll have some photos to post!

November Days

Here a few pictures of Braylon playing in the leaves. He was having so much fun.

Mommy and Daddy Time!!

Making Cookies with Mommy. I am such a good helper.

And now for my favorite past time....Playing with my dog Boston. I have been having lots of fun with him lately. Here are a few pictures of me and my buddy!

Here are a few things about Braylon that the pictures can't tell you.
1. His two new favorite words are Hi! and NO. He loves loves LOVES the word no. My sister Rachel had her dog over at our house on Sunday and our two dogs started to growl at each other. Braylon, the big boy that he is, walked over to them and told them, "No, No, No" while shaking his finger at them. I don't know where he learned that! :) At least he finally knows the difference between Yeah and No.
2. So far, all of his labs have come back A OKAY! We meet with a nutritionist next Wednesday and go from there. Hopefully she/he will give us some ideas on how to get him to eat better and gain some weight.
3. Braylon hasn't been feeling well this week and doesn't have much of an appetite. He finally ate half his dinner tonight. When the boy doesn't eat his fruit we KNOW something is wrong, but tonight he finished all of his fruit. Hopefully he'll be back to normal soon.
Until next time!

TrIcK or TrEaT!!!!

Here are some photos from Braylon's first Halloween Trick or Treating. He was so cute in his little DRAGON costume.

The first photo is an after shot of Braylon's long day of trick or treating. I had the day off and took Braylon to my work and Chris' work for some trick or treating. He was a hit! That night we took him to a couple of friends houses and of course Aunt Rachel's. He did such a and good job and was very happy when he got his candy. I would say the day was a HUGE success!!!

An update on Braylon:
We took him to get his blood drawn on Saturday morning at the hospital. He did an amazing job and hardlyl cried. I think it was worse on mommy. We should find out the lab results sometime this week. We have an appointment with the Nutritionist on Nov 19th. Not sure what all that entails. Hopefully we find out what Chris and I already know. We just have a skinny child! Better knowing for sure though!

15 months!

Happy 15 month Birthday Braylon!! Where has the time gone? I can still remember holding you for the very first time. Now, you are running all over the place and have no time to let mommy and daddy hold you. Hearing you and daddy giggling in the other room this morning while mommy was getting ready for work was the most beautiful sound. I just love listening to you two. You have the most wonderful daddy! Happy 15 month B-Day kiddo, can't wait to see what you can do in the next few months. You surprise mommy and daddy everyday with how smart you are. Love you bunches!!

Words Braylon can say:
Mama
Dada
Hello
Bye Bye
Doggie
Shoes
Yeah
Ball
Thank You
Duck
Mine

Sounds Braylon can make:
Grrrrr
Ruff Ruff(barking at the doggies!!!)
Vrooom

~FEAR~

Well, we now know that Braylon has developed his sense of fear. We thought we were going to get the perfect picture opp with Willie the Wildcat at the K-State game this weekend until Braylon totally freaked out. He was scared to death. I have never seen him get that upset or scared before. I felt so bad for him (but thought it was really cute and funny). I guess we won't be getting any picture of them together for quite some time. Makes me wonder how he will do with Santa and the Easter Bunny.

Trip to Pontiac, Illinois

Here are a few of the pictures we took on our trip to Pontiac, Illinois for Matt and Tricia Bruna's wedding this past weekend. We took off on Thursday night and stayed in Wentzville (St. Louis) with Dom and Emily Lickteig. We went the rest of the way to Pontiac on Friday. Braylon did such a great job traveling. Much better than expected. If he wasn't sleeping, he kept himself quite entertained. Once we got into Pontiac, we checked into our Hotel and then headed off to get Chris's tux. We spent the evening at the rehearsal and dinner. Braylon started to get a little cranky since it was past his bedtime, so I took him back to the hotel so that Chris could hand out with all his Friends.
Saturday came the beautiful wedding. Chris was an usher, and was able to watch Braylon at the back of the church during the whole ceremony so that I could pay attention. We had a lovely dinner at the reception and had to take a break so that Daddy and Braylon could take a little nap before the dance. Braylon was SOOO cute at the dance. He loved all the other little kids and took a special liking to Matt's little brothers. He danced and showed off to everyone. We stayed until about 10:30 and then it was time to get the guys to bed!
We left Sunday morning to head back to Wentzville to spend the rest of the day with the Lickteigs. They BBQ'd for us that evening. We had so much fun hanging out with them. They also announced that they were expecting in late April/early May. We are so excited for them! Braylon can't wait for a new friend!! We finished up our trip Monday morning by heading home. It was so nice to be back in familiar territory!!

Enjoy the pictures from our very long weekend!

Labor Day Weekend

Saturday: Our first tailgate of the season. We had a ton of fun tailgating for the K-State game on Saturday. Braylon played extremely hard all afternoon, and went home with Grandma Feldkamp to get some much needed sleep while mommy and daddy went to the game.

Sunday: We headed to Hanover for Aunt Jessie's Birthday! Braylon also made some new friends: Emma, Issac and Jacob Bruna.

Monday: Chillin' with Uncle Ryan
