34 weeks

Wow, where does the time go? I can't believe that I am 34 weeks pregnant. I have only 6 weeks to go!! I just can't believe it. I can remember taking the home pregnancy tests confirming my suspicion that I was pregnant and the due date seemed so far away. Now it is almost here!! Almost sooner than I am ready for. :) This definitely isn't the best looking picture, but all I have had time for with two sickies in the house.

I have put up two polls on Avery's arrival. Please vote! I am just curious to see what everyone thinks might happen. Here are mine and Chris's detailed votes along with what Braylon's stats were:

Chris: March 3rd, 8:52pm, 7lbs 11oz
Mine: March 7th, 11:52am, 9lbs 2oz

Braylon: His due date was 7/7/07. Born 7/10/07, 9:23pm, 8lbs 7oz

How far along? 34 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss? 10 lbs as of last Tuesday.
Maternity clothes? Oh, yes.
Stretch marks? No new ones, it won't be long for some new ones to appear.
Sleep: Not the greatest, but I'll take what I can get.
Best moment this week: Getting Avery's bedding done! Now on to Braylon's!
Movement: Yes. It is getting pretty painful. She is running out of room.
Food cravings: none.
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: Lots of Braxton Hicks,
Belly Button in or out? Half in Half out. Getting more out by the day.
What I am looking forward to: Getting Braylon and Avery's room completely finished!
Weekly Wisdom: None.
Milestones: Only 6 weeks to go! She is definitely head down and very very low.

33 weeks / Flu

Oh what a weekend. Friday marked my 33rd week of pregnancy. I am now over 33 1/2 weeks. I can't believe how fast this is all going. I had planned on a post with pictures, but Braylon got the flu Friday night and then Chris got it yesterday. So I have had my hands full taking care of two sick boys. Braylon seems to be feeling better, but is still not eating. I'm not sure if he is afraid to eat after getting sick so much or still doesn't have his appetite back. We'll keep offering it to him and I'm sure he 'll start eating again soon. Chris was running a fever last night after he started to feel a little better, but stayed home again today to rest up and get back to 100%. I'm sure his coworkers don't want him giving it to them. Our computer has a virus and we can't get on it anymore. :( I am posting this at work. Hopefully we can get it working again soon!

The weekend wasn't all that bad though. My mom and dad came to town on Saturday. My mom brought down my sisters sewing machine and cutting boards so that I can start on Braylon and Avery's bedding. They are sharing a room, so I wanted to make their bedding coordinate. I wanted Avery's to be a little girly and Braylon's to be boyish, so the only way I could think to make that happen was to make it myself. When my parents got into town, we just relaxed that evening and watched the K-State game (dvr'ed it!). It was nice to just relax. Then on Sunday we went to church, got more fabric and then my mom helped me cut out all of Avery's bedding. My dad fixed a few things around the house for us! Thanks Dad! And then my dad and his friend John drove home to Centralia together while my mom and Mary Jane (John's wife) stayed another night with us! They both work at the bank and had Monday off and wanted to go shopping. I had yesterday off as well, but being on my feet for too long sends me contracting so I passed on the shopping and stayed home to take care of Chris and to work on Avery's bedding. I was so productive yesterday, it felt so good to get so much done. I went through all the baby stuffed, got everything washed and almost finished all of Avery's bedding. I just have the bed skirt to finish. I plan to work on Braylon's quilt next weekend. I am getting so excited. I'll post some pictures of their room when I am all finished!

Last night we watched the #9 Kansas State Wildcats defeat the undefeated #1 ranked Texas Longhorns. Oh how we wish we could have been there in person, but the comfort of my own couch was just fine. It was such and exciting game and Bramlage looked electrifying. WAY TO GO CATS!!!
