His Actual Birthday

We had a fun day spending time together for Braylon's birthday. We pretty much just hung out all day and played. We then took him to dinner at Fritz's! It was a blast to see him so excited. To those of you who do not know of Fritz's, they serve your dinner on trains. It is so cool and Braylon LOVED IT! He actually ate almost ALL of his food. You order your meal on a telephone, and then a train brings it to your table from the tracks that run across the top of the restaurant. After dinner we took Braylon to Power Play (a huge arcade place). He rode a few rides, played a few games and DID NOT want to leave. We only used half of our card (about $10) in over an hour. We will probably go back next weekend to use up the rest. We headed home because Braylon's aunt Robyn got him a DQ Ice-Cream cake. We lit the candles and sang Happy Birthday. It was a nice, quiet and fun birthday if I do say so myself.

We took Braylon to see Toy Story 3 this afternoon. He loved it and behaved well. He told us both times when he needed to potty and was such a big boy. He is fast asleep on the couch right now. I guess it wore him out. :)

Enjoy a few pictures from our day!

Happy 3rd Birthday Braylon!!

My big boy turns 3 today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAYLON! Mommy, Daddy and Avery all love you so much.

You are an amazing little boy. You love to snuggle and give kisses, but you are also a very rough and tumble little boy. You will pretend to do karate (thinking of putting you in classes) jump off of anything, wrestle with anybody. You are definitely ALL BOY! You talk so well now. Almost too well (you like to tell mommy and daddy how it is). You are picking up on EVERYTHING we say. You are a very independent little boy who likes to do everything himself. You are still a very picky and little eater. You are almost completely potty trained. Accidents are few and far between now, but we still put you in pull ups at nap and night time. Most of the time you even stay dry through that. We are so proud to be your mommy, daddy and sissy. We had an amazing year watching you grow and develop. Can't wait for whats to come in this next year!

We had Braylon's B-Day party last Saturday at my parents house (Dinosaur Themed). We had a great time. Good food, cake and ice-cream and even Fireworks!! Braylon got a lot of fun new toys for outside. Plenty to keep him busy. A new bike, helmet and knee pads, slip and slide, kites, baseball tee, horse shoes, Toy Story car and undies, Toy Story shirts, play dinosaurs, bug collector. (I even made his little dinosaur shirt to match his theme!)

Here are Braylon's 3 year statistics:
(I think someone is going to be tall like their daddy!)
Height: 39.75 inches (97th percentile)
Weight: 33 lbs (75th percentile)
We plan to take Braylon to his first movie theater experience today to see Toy Story 3! I plan to take lots of pictures!

4 Months / Rollie-Pollie

Avery turned 4 months old last Friday. She is growing well and is getting to be so much fun. She "talks" ALL the time. It is so cute. Chris can really get her to laugh now. I guess she thinks her daddy is very funny. :) She is also rolling over now, both back-to-front and front-to-back. She just rolls, rolls and rolls some more now. We took her to the doctor on Wednesday for her check-up and everything looked great! Here are her statistics:

Height: 24 1/2 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 14 lbs 11 ozs (75th percentile)
Head Cir.: 17 inches (90th percentile)

Avery is a very average little girl and we couldn't be happier. Her big brother continues to love her and helps take care of her. When she was getting her shots, he was right next to her telling her is would be ok. It was so cute! I love those two so much.
